Andrea is a decorated Veteran having served in federal law enforcement for the past 26 years; she has also worked as a Professor of Forensic Science at Humber College.

Mohammad Ameli
Expertise
A dedicated advocate and versatile litigator who has appeared before many levels of court and tribunals, achieving success across criminal, civil, and immigration matters. In his spare time, he enjoys singing, reading Canadian history, and giving back through volunteer work and mentorship.

College professor, strategic communications consultancy co-founder, and applied researcher based in Toronto, with over 20 years of experience across government, academia, and the private sector.

Cassandra Harvey
Executive Director & Founder
Leads the Foundation's day-to-day operations, programs and partnerships. As founder, she brings lived understanding of the Foundation's mission to its stewardship.

Finance, Audit & Risk
Oversees finances, budgets, financial reporting, internal controls, audits and organizational risk.
Grants & Scholarships
Oversees scholarship and grant programs, including eligibility, application review, selection processes and funding recommendations.
Fundraising & Partnerships
Supports fundraising strategy, sponsorships, donor engagement and relationships with corporate, educational and community partners.
Program & Impact
Oversees program development and evaluates whether the Foundation's programs are achieving their intended outcomes and impact.

The Foundation operates under a formal governance framework, including Board oversight, committee structure, conflict-of-interest policies, financial controls and public reporting. Our policies, reports and financial statements are published in the Transparency Centre as they become available.
