The Harvey Foundation for Justice & Opportunity welcomes dedicated volunteers who bring lived experience, professional expertise, and a commitment to our mission. All positions are volunteer-based and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Board of Directors
Board positions
Board members provide independent oversight and strategic direction. The following representative seats are currently accepting applications.
- Survivor Representative
Brings survivor lived experience and a victim-centred perspective to Board decisions, helping ensure the Foundation's work remains informed, respectful and responsive to people affected by crime and victimization.
- Justice Representative
Brings lived experience of the criminal justice system to Board decisions, helping ensure programs and policies reflect the realities and barriers faced by justice-impacted individuals.
- Treasurer
Oversees the Foundation's financial health, budgeting, financial reporting, controls and accountability.

Committees carry out the Board's detailed work. You may express interest in one or more.
- Finance, Audit & Risk
Oversees finances, budgets, financial reporting, internal controls, audits and organizational risk.
- Grants & Scholarships
Oversees scholarship and grant programs, including eligibility, application review, selection processes and funding recommendations.
- Fundraising & Partnerships
Supports fundraising strategy, sponsorships, donor engagement and relationships with corporate, educational and community partners.
- Program & Impact
Oversees program development and evaluates whether the Foundation's programs are achieving their intended outcomes and impact.
