Our Board of Directors is currently at full capacity, and we are not accepting new Board applications at this time.
We sincerely appreciate the interest of individuals who wish to contribute to the governance and leadership of The Harvey Foundation for Justice & Opportunity.
Although Board recruitment is currently closed, opportunities remain available to support our mission through participation on our Board committees.

Board Committees — Applications Open
We are currently welcoming applications from individuals interested in contributing their knowledge, skills, and perspectives to our Board committees.
Committee membership offers an opportunity to help shape the Foundation's programs, partnerships, financial accountability, and organizational development.
Committee members do not need to be members of the Board of Directors.
Finance & Audit
The Finance & Audit Committee supports the Foundation's financial accountability, transparency, risk management, and responsible stewardship of resources. The Committee operates under the oversight of the Treasurer and provides recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding financial policies, budgets, internal controls, financial reporting, and audit-related matters.

We especially welcome applications from individuals with experience or an interest in accounting, finance, auditing, financial management, nonprofit governance, or risk management.
Grants & Scholarships
Supports the development and review of scholarship and grant programs, eligibility criteria, application processes, and recommendations regarding educational funding.
Fundraising & Partnerships
Supports fundraising strategies, sponsorship development, donor engagement, corporate partnerships, and institutional relationships.
Program & Impact
Supports program planning, community engagement, program evaluation, outcome measurement, and impact reporting.
Committee Membership & Voting Rights
Board committees provide guidance, expertise, and recommendations to support the Foundation's governance and operations. Committee membership does not constitute appointment to the Board of Directors and does not confer voting rights at Board meetings. Formal governance decisions remain the responsibility of the Board of Directors.
Committee members may participate in internal committee decision-making in accordance with approved committee terms of reference.
